The seminar will provide information on issues caregivers and families face as people age. Senior focused groups throughout Long island, including the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC), can help social workers and families navigate the complicated health and wellness landscape. These resourceful groups have the benefit of being accountable to each other which offers better protection for those who utilize senior services. This program will include discussion on the types of services available to older adults. Attendees will learn about resources and entitlements available on Long Island, from planning financially, to turning 65 with Social Security and Medicare to end of life planning and everything in between.

Presented by National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) with support from The Bristal Assisted Living
