The Future of Serials Publishing - An Update

The LILRC Resource Sharing and Management Committee invites you to attend its 8th Annual Technical Services Open Forum. The 2022 forum will explore the impact of the pandemic on the serials publishing industry with presentations by Deb Knox, Director of Federal Sales, Cox Subscriptions, Inc. and by Bowen Thagard, Senior Vice President of Operations & Finance, Americas, Ebsco. Topics addressed will include shifts in the information marketplace, changes in formats and publication frequency, the impact of the pandemic on small publications, troubleshooting claims, changes in collection sizes and formats, and pricing trends (freezes and increases).

FOR OUR PARTICIPANTS -  You will need both a LILRC and a Zoom account.  You will need to sign into your zoom account prior to accessing the meeting.  Your Zoom account login is separate from your LILRC account. 

If you do not already have a LILRC account you will be prompted to create one (if you have forgotten your password, and need help resetting it you can email Eliscia at ecirrone@lilrc.org).   

If you do not already have a zoom account you will be prompted to do so upon logging into the meeting.  If this is the first time you are using Zoom, after you have created an account, you can join the meeting by entering the Meeting ID/ Password provided to you in the confirmation email.  You can access all subsequent Zoom meetings by clicking the meeting link in the confirmation email.
