Partnerships between academic libraries and different departments across college campuses have been growing in recent years. Join in for an interactive hour where we talk about what kinds of partnerships are common, what to consider when beginning a partnership, and how to get things up and running. Presenter: Holly Jackson is the Student Success Librarian at Mansfield University and has been creating and growing academic library partnerships with writing and tutoring centers for over 5 years. Her recent book, Sharing Spaces and Students: Employing Students in Collaborative Partnerships, examines how to create, hire, train, and assess student positions in collaborative partnerships between academic libraries and other departments/areas across campus.
