Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Recovery for Library Collections

Keeping a detailed inventory is one way to help prepare for an emergency. In this webinar we will discuss additional emergency preparedness techniques that can be used to help alleviate the damage caused by a disaster. Included will be; Proactive Preparedness Tips, Sample Emergency Preparedness Profiles and Case Studies.

Once a disaster happens, emergency response is critical to the recovery of collections. This webinar will review industry best practices for disaster mitigation and stabilization. A disaster does not have to mean the end of your collection. We will also discuss current techniques and solutions that are being used to recover library collections after a disaster. Included will be; Initial Response Checklist, Disaster Recovery Service Options, Pricing Schedules and a Case Study of a complete recovery project cycle (with pictures).
