The 27th Annual Long Island Archives Conference is being held in-person at The Esquire at the Nassau County Bar Association, a private event venue in Mineola. A continental breakfast and hot buffet lunch will be provided.

This year's topic is Crime and Punishment and will feature presenters from across Long Island. Speakers include Amy Folk, who will take us on a ride discussing her new book, Rumrunning in Suffolk County: Tales from Liquor Island; Regina Feeney will share with us the challenges of hunting down the truth in archival records with "Murder, Mayhem, and Mystery in Freeport: Using Achives to Tell the Story;” Patrick Rafterty, from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice/CUNY will share his presentation "From No to Yes: Tales from an Academic Librarian with Special Collections in Criminal Justice;" and film historian Greg Blank will regale us with "Long Island: Crime and Culture Portrayed in Film."

Tickets are $30 each
