Climate Change and a Case For Optimism

Join Students for Climate Action for a four part series on understanding challenges and how to engage your community through meaningful programming.  Attendees are not required to participate in each part of the series, all are welcome to attend.   

This program is a 45 minute powerpoint designed to educate on the climate crisis, look at areas and ecosystems on Long Island that are being affected by climate change.  It also takes a close look at the solutions and best practices on how to implement these solutions.  It will give the audience knowledge, understanding, hope and take away action items.  This will be a train the trainer program.  We will allow time at the end for Q&A.

The audience will be given the slide deck to use with their groups with ease.  Notes will accompany each slide.

Though this program is a Train the Trainer, Students for Climate Action will also be on hand at any future events to assist.

If you do not already have a zoom account you will be prompted to do so upon logging into the meeting.  If this is the first time you are using Zoom, after you have created an account, you can join the meeting by entering the Meeting ID/ Password provided to you in the confirmation email.  You can access all subsequent Zoom meetings by clicking the meeting link in the confirmation email.
