Message to the Community: Media Production Studios for Public Libraries

This discussion will explore a full range of possibilities for public libraries to host and broadcast media from their facilities. Events can range from a single-person podcast to a group activity. We’ll take a look at motivations for this type of endeavor, spatial and technical requirements, potential costs and opportunities for community involvement.

Presenter Kevin J. Walsh, AIA, ALEP, LEED AP is licensed architect and partner with BBS Architects, Landscape Architects & Engineers with more than 25 years of diverse experience in visioning, planning and designing public and private schools, university buildings, hotels, public libraries and most recently a 100-bed campus for addiction treatment and research on the East End of Long Island.
