This workshop would be a working session to delve into the specific ways libraries can provide effective programming with intentionality and authenticity. Facilitated dialogue and activities to collectively address what programming and events could be presented with the most impact.

Tools will also be provided to assess what direction to go for your library appropriately. There are not many spaces where diverse groups can congregate to discuss issues like these, and libraries could consider how to be that space in the community.

Some areas that may be considered include young adult programming, family engagement, guest speakers, film viewings and book clubs and discussions, etc.

Presented by: Danielle Asher
