In this three-session hands-on class, students will learn how to code using Python, a high-level, general-purpose language that can be used for desktop GUI applications as well as website applications.  Python is developed under an OSI-approved open source license and can be easy to pick up whether you're a first time programmer or you're experienced with other languages.  This all day hands-on class consists of three 2-hour sessions and students are required to attend all three sessions.

Session 1 (9:30AM - 11:30AM) - Students will learn basic Python variables and functions.
Session 2 (12:30PM - 2:30PM) - Students will learn all about using loops and logic to being coding.
Session 3 (3:00PM - 5:00PM) - Students will take their Python knowledge and learn to build a mini-program.

Presenter: Roberto Peraza, Sharper Training Solutions, Inc.

Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.  Please feel free to bring your own lunch. There will be a one-hour lunch break from 11:30am to 12:30pm.

A certificate for 6 Professional Development Hours (.6 CEU's) will be emailed after the workshop.
