At this hands-on intermediate Raspberry Pi class, you will learn how to build your own Raspberry Pi robot buggy and program it with simple Python commands.
You may bring your own Raspberry Pi (models 3B or 3B+) with the latest operating system installed. Or, you can purchase a Raspberry Pi from LILRC when you register.
Attendees must bring a thin shoe box or a very thin cardboard box that is approximately 8 inches long and 5 inches wide (long and wide enough to house the Pi, DC motors, a battery pack, and a portable charger).
Attendees must also bring a laptop (or iPad with keyboard) with VNC Viewer installed. This must be done before the workshop. This is a requirement as we will use VNC Viewer to program the robot buggies remotely.
