Cancelled - NYLA All Libraries Are Powerful Tour

Jeremy Johannesen (NYLA Executive Director) and Michelle Young (NYLA President) will be visiting LILRC.  They will speak briefly about NYLA and are also looking to hear from libraries on Long Island.  There will be an opportunity for libraries present on a project or program that has been particularly successful.  Following the presentations, Michelle will facilitate a discussion.

Library Members (of all types) are encouraged to submit a program or project that has been successful in your library that you would like to present at this meeting.  Seven (7) libraries will be selected to make a 5 minute presentation.  

All submissions should be sent to ecirrone@lilrc.org by August 30th, the submission should include a brief description of the program and why this has been successful in your library.  Those that are selected will be notified by Wednesday, September 4th.  

All libraries and library staff are invited to attend this meeting.
