New Spaces and New Services: Tour of the STEM Lab at Great Neck Library and the Children's Library at Port Washington Public Library

Join your library colleagues to visit the Great Neck Library and the Port Washington Public Library on Friday, August 2.  The tour will start at the Great Neck Library to see the cool gadgets in their new STEM Lab and hear about the technology programs being offered to users of all ages.   After that, you will have half an hour to drive to the Port Washington Public Library (7 miles away) to have a tour of the Jackie and Harold Spielman Children's Library which won several architecture awards including the 2018 AIA Long Island Archi Awards in Non-Residential Interiors Category and the Architect’s Newspaper 2018 Best of Design Awards.  The entire children’s library was re-conceived and rebuilt at a cost of $2.7 million.

A certificate for 3 Professional Development Hours (.3 CEU's) will be emailed after the workshop.
