Bianca Rivera from the Long Beach Public Library has developed a new workshop for previous attendees of any of the LILRC sponsored Raspberry Pi workshops. Participants will tackle fun projects using accessories such as Pi Cameras, jumper wires, breadboards, resistors, LEDs, sensors, buzzers, and push buttons!
The registration fee covers the cost of a Pi Camera and Raspberry Pi accessories ($50) which you will take back to your library after the workshop. Attendees must bring their own functional Raspberry Pi, Micro SD card (with the operating system Raspbian Stretch installed) and 5V 2.5A power supply to the workshop. Attendees are encouraged to bring earbuds to be able to hear audio.
Prerequisite: Attendees should have attended one of the previous LILRC sponsored Raspberry Pi workshops and/or have a beginning understanding of how to use their Raspberry Pi.
Please note: this will not be a review of the beginning workshop, "Raspberry Pi and the Librarian". If there are any questions or concerns, please contact Bianca directly at brivera@longbeachlibrary.org.
The workshop is limited to 12 attendees. A certificate for 2 Professional Development Hours (.2 CEU's) will be emailed after the workshop.
Registration deadline is May 31, 2019.
