Bloxels is a way for children and teens to create their own video games that leverages a hands-on platform that requires no coding experience. Creators get to design their own character, build their own worlds, and tell the stories they imagine! After the game is created, the creators can share their games with their friends to get feedback or just to let them enjoy playing what they made. In this hands on program you will learn what Bloxels are, what products you need to run a program, and have an opportunity to create a Bloxel character with a partner. The other part of this "doubleheader" is a tour of Port Washington Public Library's newly renovated Children's Library. The Port Washington team will show you their state of the art facility and answer questions about the renovation.
