Archives on a Shoestring III: Making Enclosures

Need boxes on a budget?  Save your collection and your cash by making your own custom, acid-free boxes.  Sending items out for custom boxes is very expensive.  Learn to make four fold phase boxes in this hands -on workshop. Commercial alternatives and vendor services will also be discussed. Materials will be provided. Space limited to 25 attendees.

Attending Archives on a Shoestring I & II is not required to participate. 

Who should attend: those preserving archives materials or library special collections

Presenters:  Arielle Hessler and F. Jason Torre, both with the Preservation Department at Stony Brook University Libraries.
