The LILRC Local History Committee is proud to announce that the 22nd Annual Archives Month Conference will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Mill Neck Manor House, in Mill Neck, New York. Attendees include archivists, historians, and librarians from historical societies, house museums, and special libraries in both Nassau and Suffolk counties.  Speakers and topics include: Women’s Suffrage with Antonia Petrash, Immigration patterns on Long Island with NARA’s Dorothy Dougherty, and the history of Camp Mills with Cyril Smith.  $25 per person (includes hot breakfast buffet).  Docent-assisted self-guided tours will be open to attendees.  Non LILRC members are welcome.  For more details visit the LILRC Training and Events Calendar online at: http://www.lilrc.org/event/22nd-annual-archives-month-conference.
